Il Cinico, l'infame, il violento (The Cynic, The Rat, The Fist)

There have been some great news regarding Lenzi's excellent 1977 crime film Il Cinico, l'infame, il violento recently. It finally looks like it will be getting its first (and much needed) English friendly dvd release soon. German company FilmArt will be releasing this and La Banda del gobbo. You can't really make it out on the poster, but apparently the great art is by Studio Favalli.

La Via Della Droga (Heroin Busters)

Considering that Castellari teams up two of my favorite Eurocult actors together, adds a pounding Goblin soundtrack and starts off with a montage of exotic locations, you'd think that La Via della droga would be one of my favourite crime films. Unfortunately the film never really comes together and instead, I'd have to say it's my least favourite of his classic crime films. 

Poster art by Ciriello and the eagle-eyed viewer might spot the similarities of the skull in the poster to the one in the Bloodstained Butterfly locandina.
